I had the great fortune of seeing Pathology for free....this is a good thing! If I had wasted my money to see this movie, I would have been very displeased with myself.
I was very interested in seeing the movie due to it's storyline, unfortunately the story was just to much for the writers to take on, and the actors had no connection with their characters.
There were great vsual sequences throughout the movie, and mood-changing sets, however, due to the lack of detail in the characters the movie plays out like a bad dream.
From the beginning of the movie, there are personality conflicts between the characters that the writers due little to explain. One finds himself looking for an explaination where there is none to be found.
As far as the acting is concerned, just about every character in the movie is over-the-top. They are hard to believe, like, or even hate. I found myself, though compelled by the story, very disinterested.
I recommend waiting until this movie is in the dollar rack at your local rental spot before you pick it up. I will say it is entertaining, but not entertaining enough to warrant a $20.00 price tag. |
