I thought the movie was going to be more of a comedy ... but it isn't. This substance of this movie is in things unsaid, and awkward silences ... it can seem to move slowly at times. However, because of that, it's probably a realistic depiction of what would happen if an Egyptian police band really found itself stuck in the desert in a forgotten Isreali settlement. If you go expecting a mostly humourous movie - as portrayed by the previews - you might be disappointed. If you're looking for a interesting human story concerning how Egyptians and Israeli's are different, yet similar, then it's quite worthwhile. |
