For The Young at Heart and Mind
by Neko Kat (movies profile)
Dec 22, 2008
At first i didn't expect much with this movie. not that i know of the books either. but having watched it, the storyline pretty much made a memorable impact on the middle-teenage audience mostly though I'm at late teen age rather.
the storyline is basically on how teenagers does grow up and frankly speaking, this movie will leave you a tingle of, 'oh i remembered having that kind of moment'. it reminds us of what it feels like being young in which it is of figuring things out and experiencing mistakes on our own trying to be mature faster.
The memorable olive costume, the over the top birthday bash, the cool soundtrack, the oh-so-wierd group signs (or whatever that is called), the un-understandable parents and the list goes on. though looked a bit mediocre, its relate-able storyline will give you a feel good time. |
