I read on ESPN the Reel vs the Real and one thing does upset me after reading it and watching the film. One thing that is wrong is the WVU game which is an important part to the story. I know the why the writer added it but it wasn't needed. It shows how classless Hollywood can be.
Anyone bringing up Politics and this movie needs to get a life and talk about that somewhere else. This is a movie about a great American football player and that is it.
In my opinon this movie is better than Rudy. Yes I said it. I can not name a football movie that is more inspiring than this.
During the Cotton Bowl people in the audience would stand up and cheer in the middle of the movie when I saw an early screening of it. People clapped during the movie like it was an actually game. This is not only the best football movie but it also is the best movie of the year in my opinon. You just can't beat it.
Any true football fan needs to see this movie. It shows you what it means to play football.
It shows class is both Jim Brown and Ernie Davis. Man what could have been. |
