Never Quite Figured out Whether I Liked this Film

Here we go again with a movie that jumbles its plot into interlocking stories that strain credibility. There is a series of near misses for these characters to find each other. But none of that I think is the point, so it comes across as just a way of spiking this story with some mystery and intrigue.
Most of the characters are not particularly sympathetic. In particular there is the sort of spoiled-brat anarchist that I find particularly annoying. Thankfully she matures and grows up at the expense of the death of someone she is very close to.
This movie kept my attnetion, but I kep waiting for a climax that sadly never came. So, based on what is left, this isn't a movie I can get very excited about. I'm sure some find this movie to be profound, but I'm not one of them. |
