This remake is better than the original. It seems to have better direction and editing than the original. However, this movie is very good because of the cast. Brittany Snow is awesome. Her graduating classmates perform extra-ordinarily well as graduating seniors. And the pyscho-killer (Johnathon Schaech) is more believable as a disturbed psycho than any of the other infamous slasher-flick killers.
The plot is simple. The psycho-killer is in love with Brittany Snow's character and he goes to every length to get her, including murdering family, friends and others that would stand in the way.
My overall rating of an "A" is not because this will be an academy award winner, but because the makers of this movie took a "loser" of an idea and made it entertaining and worth seeing.
