Go See This: Terrific Characters and Story Flow

The Brothers Bloom wasn't quite what I was expecting, a quick Ocean's Eleven-esque movie, as suggested by the trailer. I'm glad that my anticipation brought me to the theater, though. The style could be compared to a cross between Ocean's quirkiness and the romantic flow from a Humphrey Bogart classic. I expected Brody to carry the movie, but I felt that Weiss and Ruffalo had the most memorable acting. Also, the actress who plays Bang Bang delivered a fantastically comedic pantomime (she does use 7 or so words). |
