Just got back from an afternoon screening of The Mist and all I can say is "Wow, what a ride!"
Darabont kicks off the roller coaster ride swiftly, like one of those "launch" coasters. Little time is wasted before viewers are into the story as a whole.
Lots of things struck me about this movie; the acting, the direction, it was shot well, good action sequences. No red flags by which to want to dislike this movie.
The ending has been a bone of contention, and I have to say, I LOVED IT!! I won't reveal any spoilers here, but lets just say I though the ending rocked!
I give this one 2 thumbs way, way up. |
