Can you image what happens when someone in you government *****s everything up? OK, bad question. But this what this movie is about. This isn't a new take on something old, however, it's really really different.
This story takes place in England. Someone in the government unleashes a virus to the populous. It started in Scotland, and it's making its way to London. The only way the higher ups felt they could contain this is by creating a wall around Scotland, living the dead dying. They were planning to flood England when they found survivors in Scotland. So, they sent a lone soldier in to get the cure.
I really liked the way the movie when into a retro 80s punk theme. It was pretty cool. But, when they all of suddenly when Mid-Evil, I'm mean literally with no time machine, I thought, 'What the *****?' Still, this seamed symbolic of how scenario when dark, in an extreme way.
One thing I should warn you about is that this movie is really bloody. I mean Mortal Kombat I through III bloody. So, if you ate something, you should wait it out before watching this one.
All and all, it's a very action-packed movie with a good story. The direction is strange but different. You'll really like it for the action if you're into blood and guts. |
