Just thought this was the best depiction I have ever seen of lebanese women conversing about life etc. I am lebanese and I just loved it. Haven't been to Lebanon yet but will plan on it after this movie!
Labaki has produced a masterpiece of lebanese cultural dialogue. Instead of hearing about wars etc. in the Middle East, we get to listen in on what is happening in people's lives through the eyes of some very wonderful women! Thumbs up, Nadine! Thank you so much! |
