I liked it. As a multirace person who has grown up in America, I don't get offended too easily. I suspect most people on this board who were offended probably are not midgets or even persons of color. Sure there are some blatant racist remarks that aren't funny, but guess what people "that is life!" People make racist remarks all the time that don't have a point and aren't funny.
I enjoyed the cinematography of the movie. Collin Farrels character was slightly annoying but bearable, the morality of the story was overly stated (and not that interesting), but the plot was not overly predictable (until the end), and the movie did manage to move along quibkly. The dialogue made me laugh, the acting was good, and the plot though a little forced wasn't bad.
The reason why so many people on this board hated it is because they were expecting a masterpiece and what they got was a pretty good movie. The movie ceratinly does not deserve an F. Those people who gave it an F, either never really seen a bad movie or are full of BS. |
