Not bad. I was a bit tired of horror movies, but I watched this one because of that kid with mask. He scared the hell out of me when I saw the trailer on TV.
As it turned out, it wasn't horrifying or all that scary, the movie. The storyline has some flaws but worthy because of the movie's leading characters' acting. I think the lead actress and the kid who plays her adopted son really had chemistry with each other. Absolutely much better acting than Jodie Foster (and the child) in both Panic Room and Flight Plan, if I were to compare to all this "mother-and-a-child" types of movies. |
