First tings first, my five year old daughter loved the movie! She is a big fan of Veggie Tales and she will often pick Bob & Larry over a Disney DVD. Also, I am a big fan and consider myself fortunate to have an opportunity to share their shows with my three kids. That being said, I do not think this movie was as good as their previous blockbuster, Jonah. The story line was at times confusing and hurried. It is also disappointing that God was not mentioned and it appears that the writers went out of their way not to. I say this because God is mentioned in every other Veggie Tale show, even the shows not based on Biblical stories such as Madame Blueberry. However, the moral of the story is clearly a Christian one and it should inspire all to higher goals, just as one of their better DVDs did in a Snoodle’s Tale.
