If your looking for a Hollywood film, this isn't the film for you. The characters are portrayed like most people in America, who want better life for their family and themselves. The characters are very honest and forgiving. They keep on moving forward even in very hardtimes.
This film is a lot like "Happy Go Lucky" you don't know how much you like the film until you think about it. The film will grow on you.
Amy Adams did a great job as a mother who wants to give her son a better life. It is only a matter of time when she wins her first Oscar. Emily Blunt does a good job as the troubled sister who has a heart. She just doesn't seem to get a break. Alan Arkin is Alan Arkin. |
