I am 30 years old and have two girls ages 12 and 4. My 12 year old still plays with dolls if for the only purpose of changing their hairstyles.
This is a knockoff of The Cheetah Girls, Mean Girls and Clueless!!!
I must admit the girls that play Meredith and Sasha are the best actors and were the most convincing. The Chloe character was very weak in her acting. I took my overly hyper 4 year old to see this movie and was hesitant because it was rated for teens but....to my pleasant surprise she was glued to the screen the entire time. Even the 2 year old who was sitting in front of us in the theater trying to get her attention had no luck. My youngest really enjoyed the movie and clapped at the end. It is not meant to be a deep movie it is really for young girls and is for the purpose of fun.
The movie reminds kids to be kids and that is good enough!!!
This movie was not meant to go up for a Oscar nomination. It was a good clean movie with no Foul language or Sexual inuendos and that is a rareity in the Society we live in.
Kudos for any positive movies out there that can entertain a hyper 4 year old!!! |
