Ok if for some reason you went to this movie hoping it was some NEW like comedy and Will Ferrell was all of a sudden offerring something different in his character acting, then you are dissapointed. I keep reading that on the reviews and I wonder what the heck,,,we love Will Ferrell because he's Will Farrell and I suspect we will for a long time. Someone wrote hes just another Jim Carey and then said we got tired of his same ole characters and the said Will will go onto make horror movies,,,,NO It's because Jim Carey wanted to branch out and broaden his character that we dont see him like we did back in his Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber days....
This movie does lack character developement and I suspect that was the product of editing since this movie already is 90 mins. That being said the characters are not that tough to figure out and the movie is very funny. No I didnt learn any new positive messages abiout life, BUT I DID LAUGH ALOT......I suggest it for you if youre looking for a good mindless comedy and you enjooyed Talladega nights and his skating movie. ( sorry the titel slipped my mind). |
