I thoroughly enjoyed this movie from start to finish. Perhaps because I am going through football withdrawals; perhaps because one of leads was nicknamed "The Bullet" which has been my nickname since 1973; perhaps because this movie was executed almost flawlessly.

I especially enjoyed the witty banter between Lexie (Renee Zellweger) and Dodge (George Clooney). The writing was reminiscent of Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn. This should put a feather in the caps (not unlike Lexie's in her opening scene) for Duncan Brantley and Rick Reilly who wrote the screenplay.

This movie did not have a hero nor a villain. The movie represent people trying to do the next right thing.

Leatherheads is a comedy and a love triangle it is also becomes the Keystones Cops at times but it all seems to work together. This movie will not make you think but it will take you on an adventure for about two hours or so -- enjoy the ride
