Even if this muddled mess of a campy thriller hadn't come out at such an untimely moment in Lindsay Lohan's career, it would STILL be a stinker. Terrible, awful, embarrassing screenplay and shoddy performances to match, there was nothing any of the actors could possibly do to help this one along. The plot is nonsensical: there's a serial killer loose, and he kidnaps Lohan, and when she is found alongside the road, she has been "cut". This is edited with the actual torture scenes, which are stomach churning. And then there is the unintentional humor of the script: several laugh-out-loud moments when the audience at the theatre most definitely should not have been laughing. This is a "What were they thinking?" movie all around. An absolute bomb! |
