After reading so many bad reviews of this movie, I went in with low expectations. It far suprassed my expectations. The movie was gory, graphic, and suspenseful. I enjoy thrillers, and this one made even my stomach a bit quesey. They really "went there" as far as graphic appeal, making the audience squirm. There are a few ways you can interpret the movie, I thoroughly enjoy a movie that makes you think. Is it all in her mind? Or is this really happening? The creative contrast between red and blue was a nice touch to the films cinematic style and visuals. Lindsey Lohan (for all the crap she gets), is a decent actress and shows her ability in a completely different genre in this film as she has in others. This is definitely no Mean Girls. |
