Not a fan of Lohan's but it is a good thriller

To be honest, I have never liked any of Lindsay Lohan's movies and she's obviously not a good kid in her real life. However, I have to admit that she did a pretty good job in "i know who killed me."
In fact, the story line is alright but the visual is really good. This movie can be classified as a thriller/horror one because there are some really strong torture scene as well as gore. On the other hand, the movie brings you a well made suspense feeling. You will also find some surprises towards the end.
In general, this is a good thriller with lots of gore. If you are a big fan of saw and hostel. This movie is definitely worth watching when you can also enjoy lindsay lohan's acting. But if you are just a fan of Lohan's previous teen movies, then please don't come to this movie. You will find it disappointing. Therefore, my thought about why "I know who killed me" recieves so many bad reviews is because it happens to have the wrong audiences coming to the movie and expect to see logan playing a stereotyped teenager/chick.
In addition, I really like the idea of the director of using a blue color theme for the movie. This maybe unnescessary but it brings a little touch of art to the movie. Really interesting and different. |
