Subtle nuances of performance carry this film above the dismal miasma that has characterized Hollywood for so many years. I laughed. I cried. I sat in awed wonder at the sheer brilliance of the auteurs who crafted this gem. This magnum opus will be taught in film schools for decades and has become a classic overnight. The stunned silence of the crowd leaving the theater spoke volumes. I believe more than one life was changed and more than one soul restored as a result. |
