Something different...

This is finally a Brazilian movie different from the other usual violence genres that have been made in Brazil. The plot is about a boy who is left alone in a Jewish neighborhood during a very important time in Brazilian history (both because of soccer - one of Brazilian's passions - and because of the political issues of the time); the year of 1970, where both world cup and dictatorship happen in Brazil. It is a good drama - and not a movie that can be judged just because your kids thought it was boring. Not a movie for kids, I am afraid. |
