I understand that the movie actually didn't mean to tell a story about the death of the security guard or anything regarding that. It was actually more about what's going on in Alex's life, as a gullible adolescent who's growing up, choosing what to trust, what not to. Coping with big, small, or frightening matters at hand, bla bla. The story seemed to try to portray and center around adolescents life.
BUT. Who are supposed to feel related and associated with this movie? An adolescent? The only people who would REALLY understand this movie are THE CRITICS, who, have broader knowledge about films and probably film-making. Adolescents? No.
So who's going to watch and like this movie? The critics, film makers, insomniacs. |
