Who needs a story when you have slow motion!

I've never seen so much pointless slow motion. I think the movie was about a kid who walks around in slow motion, kills a security gard who amazingly falls backwards in front of a train but ends up face down upon body inspection and then breaks up with his girlfriend. Who needs a story when you have that???
I was amazed to see the critics actually liked this film. It had no story, it didn't finish what little story it had, and the acting was sub high school skit esq in quality. I wonder what it cost Van Sant to get the good reviews from the critics... |
