I love movies based on true stories, tho oftentimes they're twisted a little to "fit" the screen. Overall, it's another touching humanatarian movie. The characters could have been better developed, especially the children's, though the roles were well-played. But... it didn't fail to allow us to "guess" on the hows and whys with the brutality of the invading Japanese army as the catalyst. |
