I'm not surprised so many American critics and viewers don't like this movie. Anything that's not filled with Hollyweird pretty boys and girls with plastic breasts and lips and totally inane with a totally childish script is panned.
This is a funny, warm movie. It starts a bit slow but by the end of the movie the audience was on the edge of their seats rooting for Simon. Yes, kind of an A-typical, boy/girl struggle but the fact that the cast look like regullar humans and the subtle (sometimes not so subtle) humor make this a great movie. Very funny and very warm. |
