A great start for 2009 Movies -Honest Review

I have never heard of this book "InkHeart" nor have I had any idea what I was going to see when I went to this showing.
All I really knew about it was that it was a movie about a book coming real. But it was so much more than that.
The movie takes you on this non-stop adventure, and no, I am not saying it is action-packed, I am saying it is always moving. But it does have its action moments, and there are a lot.
However, unlike some new movies, it seems this movie is not all into eye candy…it was made to really entertain you, and that is what makes it pretty good.
If you know the book, then I can honestly say I don't know if you will like this movie. But, if you are like me, and have never read the book before, I am sure you will enjoy it. But Remember, it all depends on if you like this kind of movie.
This movie is one of those clean, fantasy/adventure movies were it seems that almost anything can happen.
I do have to say something, however...the poster for this movie, as for the preview also, does give you a different idea from what the movie really is...unless, of course, you know the book.
The only thing that I didn't find great about this movie is the acting...some parts you could tell they were trying a little too hard, but it is nothing really.
Either way, if you are a family person, and you like these kind of fantasy/action/ adventure /family/ kid movie/young teen movies, then I recommend this movie for you. It has a fresh idea, and I really think it will bring some Joy to people's hearts, and a great spark of inspiration to kids’ hearts. |
