I enjoyed much of the film and was hooked by it from the start. It's well-acted, well-crafted, and spooky. However, as time went on, and the movie was heading for the home stretch--many corpses, injustices, chase scenes, twists, killers, and drawn pistols later--I'd had enough. The movie goes to the well too many times, and sorting out the intricacies of the plot (Agatha Christie to the third power?) just isn't that interesting. |
