A meal without salt
by Robert L (movies profile)

The concept of this movie isn't new, but few horror stories are. Nevertheless, it was a one that the director could have made an entertaining horror film out of, but failed to do so. The acting was very poor, with all the personalities being completely over the top. The effects were awful. You don't need to have a huge budget to create iconic moments. In this film, it was like they'd never seen a horror film before. For example, in one scene the director did nothing more than pour a bucket of fake blood over people's heads to show that someone died on the floor above them, which is just lazy. The "effect" of switching from black and white to color was also rather lame and shows poor effort. It could have been a good movie with a little more effort, but it's not. |
