Shine a Light is a very directorial and extravagent docu-concert which should be checked out by all Stones fans. Also if you're a fan of Scorsese too. All signs pointed to this moment to occur. Notice in the majority of Scorsese's movies have The Rolling Stones songs in them.
This movie is so extraordinary and unique for two big main reasons. Both the band and the director are legends. The Rolling Stones are rock n' roll legends and Martin Scorsese is an iconic and inspirational film maker. I don't think he has a bad movie out there. But everybody is opionative.
All and all, Shine a Light is a very outstanding experience. The music is so good and the direction is so excellent that this has to be one of the best documentaries out there.

rated PG-13 for brief strong langugae, some drug references and smoking.
