Curiously long and curiously left flat

Curious is a curious word. One of the definitions is "eager to know" and I certainly was curious about this movie. Major hype and a major actor was the draw, but the story seemed earth shattering.

Give Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett their props they played both old and young and did it well. But there was really no cause for us to be concerned they would not wind up together, even though it was in a very strange way.

The story is wrapped around a hospital bed and a hurricane. Easy to tell who is in the hospital bed, but even more curious who is with her.

The scene stealer in the movie is Taraji Henson, who plays Queenie. She has done TV and movies, but on the biggest stage of her life she outshines Brad Pitt.

You should go for the heartwarming story in the beginning, the great acting, and the questions you will have leaving. What if you could live your life backwards? Would you?

The ending will probably leave you flat and it is curious that in a movie that is set in predictable motion, the conclusion is so predictable.

The movie is lonnnnnnng, plan on 3 hours in the theatre, so get some snacks and drinks, find a comfy seat and go to be entertained, but certainly not blown away.

I give Queenie (Taraji Henson) a nod to get a supporting actress Oscar from this one.
