Michael Myers is back and better than ever

Halloween was such an amazing horror movie. I am so glad they made a remake. I thought that Rob Zombie did such a great job doing a remake. I loved how they went back to Mike Myers childhood. It was really helpful to see why he turned out to be so bad. It was so cool how they had some scenes where he just came out romping on anybody or anything. Daeg Faerch did an excellent job playing Mike Myers at a young age. Considering this was his first movie he ever acted in he turned out amazing. He also resembled what I thought Mike Myers would look like too. Rob Zombie is an awesome director, when you hear that he is coming out with a new movie, you know that it is going to be insane. If you liked his other 2 movies, House of 1000 Corpses, adn The Devils Rejects than you will really love this one. Rob Zombie also always has to have his wife in all of his movies but she did a perfect job acting and really fits the parts for all of his films. This just goes to show that Rob Zombie can never be brought down and really knows what he is doing with a cast. On some other actors he chose a similar cast to all his other movies but still they did a great job. The story in this movie is not really that easy to pick out. I guess the story would be him going out and killing people that made fun of him in his past. Another part of the story could also be him going after his sister that was just a baby when he was a kid. The visuals were so cool just because the fact that the action was so intense. One of my favorite scenes is where Mike is younger and a kid is picking on him at school and when they get out of school he decides to grab a baseball bat and hit him with it. In that scene also, I loved how they showed him dominating over the bully to prove that he won that fight. The direction was also hard to capture. It had to deal with him leading up to how worse he became from the killings. Overall I loved this movie and you should know by now that if you ever see Rob Zombie's name as a director that you have to see that movie. |
