The movie is definately not logic and the ending was unexceptable. You may or may not like this movie. For a person who watches Hindi films a lot, this movie may come as a hit among Hindi films. But don't expect it to be the same in Hollywood. This movie is the second part of the hit 'Dhoom' which had John Abraham as the villain. Now, Hrithik Roshan appears as Aryan, a modern and genius thief who leaves his initials at spots where he stole stuffs. He gets away with all his thefts.
Abhishek continues his role as Jai Dixit, a cop/detective who is an awfully boring fellow. Bipasha Basu comes from nowhere as Shoneli Bose who is a cop too and what a coincidence!!! They're both from the same college! Uday Chopra too resumes his role as Jai's sidekick, Ali(Aladdin's monkey's name).
Then there is Sonehri(Aishwarya Rai),aahhhh, I don't want to explain the whole story as I am here for my opinions on this movie.I'll give an A for the songs as they are catchy and modern. At first,Hrithik's character comes off as a cool thief, but when Aishwarya shows up, he starts losing cool.Bipasha plays 2 roles as Shoneli and her twin sister Moneli who is Ali's love interest.
What a drag...you can get tired of the movie bit Uday Chopra keeps you awake with his silly jokes and innocent-stupid looks. This is an enjoyable movie if you have the interest but other then that its just another Hindi movie. |
