Entertaining but - A Gross Historical Inaccuraccy

The real Colditz had several escapes but is known for the attempt by inmates to build a glider and sail it out of the prison. The glider was constructed but never flown due to it being so close to the end of the war.
This movie is a fictional love story lasting 3 some hours. It will appear as Part 1 and Part 2 on the DVD. Its OK and tolerable but it is like making a love story out of Pearl Harbor and completing ignoring the attack all together. |
