Black Sheep is a horror comedy in the vein of "Shaun of the Dead". This however, is just one of the horror movies it spoofs.
A New Zealand businessman wants to gengineer sheep for sale... somehow this goes WAY off kilter and he creates carnivorous sheep. Hilarity ensues.
The story is decent. The preceding paragraph pretty much sums it up, and nothing is delved into further, but for this movie perhaps that's for the best. At an hour and 20 minutes, it clips along decently with intermittent scenes of revolt and laughter, as we're faced with the horrors of zombie/werewolf/The Birds type gore and even some bestiality thrown in. The one liners and just general silliness lighten the mood, but there are some slow parts that drag this movie out a bit.
Your expectations shouldn't be high going into this movie, and if you leave them there, you'll enjoy this horror comedy very much. |
