I went into this movie not knowing this is based on a true story. I think ignorance was bliss as it's a very heavy yet inspiring film. The direction is erratic but it should be as you are seeing the film from the patients persepective. Guys who like adventure/action movies should stay away from this and so should women who only want the "chick flick." This movie is neither. It's pure cinema with a tragic tale to tell with beauty, compassion and humor. |
