My girlfriend wanted to see this movie, so of course, I went along. And I have to say, honestly, I liked it. Ryan Reynolds is great as he recalls his love life, telling every detail to his daughter. The film really surprised me because it did not shy away from the divorce aspect which is prevalent in society. In fact, the film never lets go of the fact that Ryan Reynolds' character is not happy with his life. He wants love, happiness, success, but struggles to hold onto these things in 1990's America. I recommend this film to anyone who wants to see a good film and be pleasantly surprised. |
