ever since i read the book, i've been waiting for this movie to be released. now that i've seen the movie, i gotta say i'm not all that impressed...it's a great movie, don't get me wrong but like only 1% of the human population survived, it only had 1% in common with the book. at the end of the day, that's what drags this movie down.
i think the most disappointing part is that the whole robert neville being "the legend" thing was completely different in the movie and it was not as effective and dramatic as how neville was the legend in the book.
if you've never read the book however, this movie is worth seeing from an entertainment point of view but you should definitely read the book afterwards. if you've read the book already, then beware, the movie may turn into a disappointment |
