Great movie with a credible storyline

The thing I liked most about this movie is the dialogue and exchange of thoughts and emotions between the characters. Each character in the movie has a profound effect on the main character (Helen Hunt). This is illustrated in the many encounters she had with her (ex) husband, boyfriend, and biological mother. Her husband irritated her because he did not know what he really wanted in life. Her boyfriend moved her because he was the exact opposite of her (ex) husband. Her biological mother took everything in stride and was a very happy go lucky person, just the opposite of herself. At any rate, her new boyfriend and biological mother gave her a breath of hope and support at a very critical point in her life. The ending displays a practical look at life and how important it is to strive for what you want but also be content with the outcome if you dont get exactly what you set out for. The movie was well acted and well directed. |
