Ive read many of the reviews about this film and I have to say they've made me laugh. The entire point of this movie is to challenge the audience's view of what entertainment is. The story flows well introducing us to the normal well to do family. Following typical thriller style the family is soon thrown into a nightmare situation playing a game for their lives. I'm not going to put in spoilers like others have but I will say that what Haneke has done with this movie is to throw a challenge in the face of Hollywood conventions in regards to thrasher flicks. If you want a movie that will make you think and more than likely make you incredibly uncomfortable this is a movie you'll want to see. Though I must say the original is a little bit better |
