A movie I'd go to the theater for more than once

I'll start by saying that it's been a very long time since I have laughed as hard as I did when I saw Superbad for the first time. There just aren't very many dull moments in this one and if you are okay with hearing the "F-bomb" 187 times in this one then I would imagine you'd laugh just as hard as most people in the audience with myself did. I should also mention that this movie doesn't really leave room for a surprise ending or an Oscar-worthy plot and story, but it makes up for that in it's sheer comic value. Jonah Hill takes a firm step into the spotlight with a hilarious performance right alongside Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Michael Cera. For being his first movie I should say that Mintz-Plasse seemed like a seasoned actor. Cera did a great job in his first big starring role and Hill was so funny that it made me go back home and pull out other movies he was in to remind myself just how funny this kid is.
As I mentioned before; this movie drops the F-bomb 187 times so you should know right now if it's not for you. If you're okay with just about every aspect of what we consider "foul nature" being thrown at you from start to finish then get the movie theater ASAP. |
