Americans need to better understand foreign cultures - especially those of whom we only get a sad glimpse on the evening news. Afghanistan is an amazing country with beautiful people - and Americans will never understand heartbreak and pain until they can learn it through the stories of others.
Though this is not as true story - it is one that many have lived. My heart goes out to the millions of Afghans who have faced this heartbreak... and survived to tell about it. |
