Afghanistan and its people. I will admit that I had a closed minded perception of that country and its people. I am glad that I read the book and saw the movie. The movie brought to life the pre-Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in its more "glorious" days, showing a beautiful country and its traditions. I also was drawn in by the story of the two boys and taken by the unrelenting loyalty of the servant boy.
I found the movie very touching and heart-warming. I think it is a must see movie for all. I cannot possibly give the movie the type of review it deserves, but I hope everyone goes to see it,as you will not be disappointed. |
