Other people is just so ignorance, they just plain dumb. You can't just a book by its cover, and you can't judge a great movie from its qualities, storyline, characters, sounds, actors ALONE. If you want to understand a great film, you will have to understand the point the director is trying to make. A great movie is not film to make you say, "omg, this is a great movie!" A great movie is the one that is unforgottable, something that you will remember and possibly learn something valuable from it. To those who are too dumb to enjoy a great film, I feel bad that you guys missed this chance. CJ7 is a great film. It's true that Chow isn't as funny as in Shaolin Soccer or Kung Fu hustle but it still teaches a great moral lesson. I'm a big fan of comedy movies rather it is chinese, american or european. I don't judge if a movie is great by if it is the genre I like. My friend HATED Chow and his "Silly movies," but CJ7 is a movie that he love. I'm greatly affected by it because it is so moving. I hope Chow will make more film like CJ7 because it's the best I know. |
