Just returned from seeing "Daddy Day Camp" and yes the film is aimed at children under the age of 11. Guess what, That's exactly who I brought (My two sons a 6 and 5 year old) and it was a fun Friday evening. The film is exactly what you would think it should be. One that has just enough plot to hold the attention of a child. A film with good, clean fun. If you enjoyed the 1995 film "HeavyWeights" then take your kids to see this film. Yes, there were some jokes that didn't work for me, but my children were laughing out loud. For me, that was worth every bit of the 25.00 I spent on it. It's no Toy Story, but it is a brainless tale for anyone one that just wants to sit in their seat, stare at the screen and laugh without trying to figure out some complex plot like The Bourne Ultimatum. |
