I was at Preview of this film attended by Andrew Shue and Carly Schroeder.
The film is based loosely on the Shue Family. So yes, they are a soccer family and Elizabeth petitioned to to play with the boys.
Elements were added, combined and dramatized to make a movie out of real life, but the basic points are there.
Elizabeth is actually playing her own mother.
HEr husband directed and Cary's brother played one of her brothers.
Truly a family endeavor.
Anyone looking for the next child star to break out, look to Carly Schroeder (Also good in Mean Creek). |
