Yes, there is underage drinking, smoking, and
the threat of sex (here it is seen as a threat).
I have a mature 8 year old and we had a LONG talk
about acting out, sexism, and the late 1970s in general. Ultimately, we talked about loving sports, being the best you can be, and being able to say what you feel rather than acting out your feelings. Quite a lot to get from a 95 minute movie....Despite flaws in script, this movie is a gem. A labor of love, beautifully acted. I wish my daughter was older and my sons
