after reading some of the other yahoo users' reviews of this movie, i decided to take my kids to see it last night. i have to say, this is the most disappointing movie i have seen all year. what a complete waste of time and money. this is a VERY low budget movie. i cannot believe it made it to the big screen. it should have went directly to video or tv. the acting and directing was terrible. it was too short and whoever did the filming and/or editing didn't notice that most of the scenes were out of focus. the worst part of all had to be the special effects. the things they came up with looked like something my kids would have made out of fireworks and an old cardboard box while playing in the back yard.
the idea/story for this movie was ok but the filmakers obviously just did not have the proper budget to make it work.
i hereby nominate this movie to receive the razzie for worst picture of the year. |
