I've been waiting to see this movie for 4 years, that was back when Benicio Del Toro was involved with this picture. This is about Frank Lucas and how he builds his empire and how it all falls down. This is a long movie, so if you dont like long ones then this isnt for you. The story is pretty interesting. Seeing Lucas did everything and built his empire up. The acting was pretty good to. Russall Crowe was good, Denzel was better. The directing was pretty solid too. This is a very story driven movie. There is very little action in this movie at all so dont expect all these gun fights and shoot out because you will be disappointed. This thing is pure story and acting. It reminded me of Scarface honestly. this was a good movie but not Oscar worthy, in my opinion, as a lot of people think. |
