WARNING: DONT SEE THIS MOVIE IF YOUR EXPECTING A LOT OF SHOOT OUTS AND GANG VIOLENCE!!! This movie was a great movie and WILL win an award. The script was excellent and the acting was outstanding. If your expecting shoot outs and the new type of scarface, don't waste your money. This movie is directed towards the older generation, movie buffs or if your interested in Harlem History. But if your just going to see the movie because your expecting a "gangster" movie then don't watch it. It's kind of long and has a lot of dialog but its a great movie. Awesome story and based on true events. This was a well written script and Ridley Scott again has not disapointed me! If you want a good story and somewhat of a documentary and want to know the story of a hustler, check it out!! Again.....IF YOUR EXPECTING A LOT OF VIOLENCE, SHOOT OUTS, AND "GANG" VIOLENCE, TURN THE OTHER WAY. YOU WILL BE BORED IF THATS THE ONLY REASON YOU WANT TO SEE IT!!! |
